Finally, some springtime weather in the forecast! The water color is ranging from clear to dirty and water temps are running 44 to 47 except for the the areas influenced by the power plant discharges which are 54 to 57 degrees. The fishing is good and improving on a daily basis with the warmer weather and longer days that's allowing the water temp to rise. All of the bass I'm catching are coming from main lake/creek points and rocks on spinnerbaits and shallow running crankbaits, the jig and shakey head bite has been completely dead for me. The fish are biting early and late but the middle of the day can be tough at times. Remain focused, keep casting and winding, and you'll be rewarded with some nice fish.
